On languages
Today, the Danish Language Council - Dansk Sprognævn, has issued a warning against the rising influence of English on Danish. They feel that the Danish language is “under pressure” from English and anglicizing bit by bit untill Danish ceases to be a viable option for the Danes. At first when I read the article I thought - Tripe! - but… come to think of it, I might tend to agree. Read the rest of this entry »
